Even with the hardships and heartbreaks you still feel the joy of life and the peace and calmness of seeing and being around the animals of Africa. They are incorporated into his stories in such a natural, realistic way that it makes you smile ! I have gotten to know and love the people in this series and am anxious to get the next one to see how they are and what will happen next .Product details

Enjoyed all his books the detailed life and describing of Africa. The characters and events held together well. Worth the price
enjoyed the hisorical african feel
As the first two books of the the series this was just as enjoyable. When is the miniseries going to be announced? He leaves you wanting more . The characters and their development is great but I just wanted more in closure of certain characters. Great read and keeps you interested at all times.
Having read the first 2 books of The Brigandshaw Chronicles, I was anxious to read Book 3. Still great. I am now reading Book 4.
The third book in the Brigandshaw trilogy was a lot of fun to read. The characters are unique and the setting in Africa is intoxicating.
A good read about the early years in Rhodesia. The book is a page turner with a good plot and interesting characters, it also stays very accurate to the history of that country and Southern Africa. I do hope a follow on from this book, the third in the Briganshaw family life.
The author spent sometime introducing the reader to the Roaring Twenties and unsafe mining in Great Britain. I have enough of the woes of the wealthy and negligible charitable acts. The author has not developed the characters or the background, which should have been Africa.
Easy reading and recommend for a wide audience.
